Default Thinking Outside the Box (Arenas)

Ya know what? 4v4 competition arenas is a wee bit boring. I’ve got some ideas that I want to throw at you all.

An 8v8 Competition Arena (With larger maps)
An 8v8 Team Arena (Using the larger maps from competition arenas)
A 20v20 Competition Arena (With maps half the size of the north kryta province)
A 14v14 GvG ability (20 v 20 would be crazy, 15v15 is at least a little balanced, it would also open the door to a whole new world of builds)
A 2Gv2G battle, you would be put with another guild, and face another 2 guild team.
AND FINALLY! A 50v50 GvG ability (Increase the guild hall to cover the entire island chain next to it, or even a 4 guild ffa in guild battle. Have each guild have their own island, with bridges connecting them.)

All of this may seem stupid at a first glance, but just stop and think about it before you judge it. Think of the mayhem and the ever changing scenarios you would encounter in one battlefield. It would be awesome!

Sounds fun. I like the idea of larger battles.

I'd love to see a constantly ongoing battle with as many players as the servers can handle. 50 vs 50 in the arid sea for example.

"Join game" button would place you on either the red team or the blue team.

Upon entering, you would spawn anywhere inside the very large map and you would be wise to find your team members as quickly as possible. Scenarios like this would create a "pinchpoint" where the battle usually rages and it would be a blast!
A constantly turning meatgrinder with deaths and ressurections taking place constantly amongst the firestorms.
No DP, no res shrines, constant XP and faction from kills, no timer, no runners, no matter if someone leaves....

Perfect.

Thank you, that's what I've been saying since May

constant ongoing battle, I always thought it would be alot of fun in a custom map, with one team charging down a mountain and the other team running down the other one, just to collide in a massive explosion at the valley in the bottom

That'd be awesome!

Thumbs up

This idea would be great and having a constant ongoing battle would be great too...I could just hear now "That damn F***ing tank just came in outta now where and killed me! I hate this constant ongoing battle!" Ha ha, it woud be great! Also, I wouldn't mind charging down a hill at the other team and just collide...now that's what you call a guild war!
